People's Choice Awards 2014 Nominations Press Conference

Celebrities including Rachel Bilson, Darren Criss, Allison Janney and People’s Choice Awards co-hosts Kat Dennings and Beth Behrs gathered at L.A.’s Paley Center to announce this year’s nominees for the People’s Choice Awards. The picks covered all the exciting categories including new fan-selected favorites like On-Screen Chemistry and Horror Movie. Now you can see the full list of nominees here!

But the conference wasn’t just about revealing the nominees you helped select. There were some pretty hilarious moments, too. Here are the 5 best from today’s People’s Choice Awards conference:

You (yes, you!) set a new voting record: People’s Choice Awards executive producer Mark Burnett revealed that this year claims the most number of votes in the show’s history. There were 20 million votes logged every day!

NEXT: Kat Dennings accidentally gives Marc Burnett a smooch, celebs put on British accents and more…

Kat Dennings kisses Mark Burnett–on the lips: “I accidentally kissed Mark on the lips!” Dennings said after taking over the mic from Burnett. “Sorry, Mark!”

Beth Behrs gives a nod to her “dorky” 2012 speech: Co-host Behrs recalled her 2012 People’s Choice Awards speech, during which she had said, “Thank you for making 2 Broke Girls feel like a million bucks.” During today’s press conference, she wasn’t afraid to poke fun at herself for the self-proclaimed “dorky” speech.

Allison Janney inserts herself into categories: While presenting her share of the nominees, the Mom star had no qualms inserting her name into obviously far-fetched categories like Favorite Dramatic Movie Actor.

British accents: Chalk it up to the the conference’s playful environment or a tipping of the hat to Burnett’s British roots, but presenters Darren Criss and Ciara were happy to turn on their British accents to announce a few of the nominees. At one point, Ciara even busted out a twang to announce the Favorite Country Artist nominees.
