Nope, it’s not Kelly Clarkson.

All the pennies have been counted and it appears that The Sound of Music star Carrie Underwood is the financial idol of her reality show peers.

The American Idol season four victor reigned supreme on the list of Forbes‘ top earning American Idols of 2013 procuring more financial success than Oscar winner Jennifer Hudson and original Idol champion Kelly Clarkson. The Blown Away star reportedly earned an astonishing 31 million dollars thanks in large part to her extensive touring schedule and profitable endorsement deal with Olay. Underwood’s reported 2013 earnings are so prolific that she exceeded the income of last year’s American Idol judges — Mariah Carey, Nicki Minaj and Keith Urban — while also eclipsing second place winner Kelly Clarkson by a whopping 24 million dollars.
