Lea Michele’s Newest Song is a Tribute to Cory Monteith — LISTEN

Lea Michele is no stranger to emotionally powerful music. Last year the Glee star gave fans an unforgettable and heartfelt rendition of “Make You Feel My Love” during an episode dedicated to co-star and off-screen boyfriend Cory Monteith, who passed away in July. Earlier today the singer-songwriter released her latest single, “You’re Mine,” off her forthcoming album Louder. Michele told Elle last year that “You’re Mine” was recorded before Monteith’s tragic passing. “It makes me so happy, this song,” Michele said. “It makes me think so much of Cory. It was ours. When I think of him, I play this.”

Grab some tissues and listen to the ballad below:

“You’re mine for life, and I’ll be by your side. We are entwined.”

Lea Michele’s Louder will be released on March 4th.
