Talk about a Sister Act! No one, no one, no oneee expected such a spectacular performance from 25-year-old Sister Cristina Scuccia on The Voice of Italy. The nun got a standing ovation after she belted out a remarkable rendition of Alicia Key’s “No One.”
Sister Scuccia’s performance not only earned approval from the studio audience and her fellow nuns backstage, but it also garnered a four-chair turn from the judges who were shocked to see that the rock star voice that caught their attention belonged to a nun.
“When I turned around, I thought I had a vision problem,” coach Noemi remarked. Coach Pelu was in agreement. “I still have not woken up from when I turned around. You’re amazing.”
