The 2014 MTV Movie Awards are in the books! The Hunger Games: Catching Fire was the big winner this year as the popular sequel took home the coveted Movie of the Year award, and co-stars Josh Hutcherson and Jennifer Lawrence won Best Male and Female Performance respectively. It was also a big night for We’re the Millers star Will Poulter, who walked away with two Golden Popcorns one for Breakthrough Performance and the other for his memorable on-screen smooch with fellow Best Kiss winners, Jennifer Aniston and Emma Watson.

All in all, the most unpredictable award show of the year lived up to its reputation. Channing Tatum and Mark Wahlberg picked up top honors, Seth Rogen shared a kiss with a special lady, and so much more!

Here are the five must-see moments from the 2014 MTV Movie Awards!

1. Zac Efron’s shirt is ripped off by Rita Ora!

Is there a category that encapsulates the fun, irreverent spirit of the MTV Movie Awards better than the coveted Best Shirtless Performance accolade? Doubtful. Zac Efron, or as he will now and forever be known “The man of 1000s abs,” was this year’s winner, and Rita Ora made sure everyone watching at home knew why.

2. Conan’s “50 Celebrity Cameos” video

From losing an arm wrestling match against Katy Perry to getting his nails done with Taylor Swift, Conan dared to dream the impossible dream of an opening video that featured an astounding 50 celebrity cameos. Thanks to stars like Emma Watson, Mindy Kaling, Grumpy Cat, and the cast of The Big Bang Theory, the host hit the magic number and shattered the MTV Movie Awards record for the most star appearances in an opening video.

3. Conan O’Brien’s musical monologue

O’Brien is at his absolute funniest when he’s allowed to riff on the absurdity of a situation. Enter part-time internet sensation and full-time feline, Grumpy Cat. The cantankerous kitty somehow scored a front row seat to the award show, which gave O’Brien ample material to work with.

“A human being is performing for a sleeping pet? This is the end of civilization as we know it. Why does Grumpy Cat have a better seat than Nick Lachey?”

Watch as Conan reveals a few six second Vine videos of the year’s best movies and performs a musical number about not performing a musical number with Pitch Perfect star Adam DeVine.

4. Ellie Goulding and Zedd perform “Beating Heart” and “Find You”

Divergent fans were treated to not one but a two song mashup from the popular film: A powerful, stirring rendition of “Beating Heart” by Ellie Goulding and a performance of “Find You” by Zedd, Matthew Koma, and Miriam Bryant!

5. An exclusive world premiere clip of The Amazing Spider-Man 2!

With a little bit of help from host Conan O’Brien, Andrew Garfield was able to recall his forgotten computer password (Harry Styles makes me smiles) and share an exclusive clip of the forthcoming Amazing Spider-Man 2.
