Fans clamoring for a sequel to Disney’s smash hit Frozen may have to “Let it Go” for now.
Despite raking in over $1.1 billion worldwide, we sadly won’t be donning our tiaras and heading to the theater to watch Frozen 2 anytime in the near future — which is unfortunate because tiaras aren’t cheap. Disney chairman Alan Horn recently told The Hollywood Reporter that Frozen 2 hasn’t even reached the development stage yet. Disney’s sole focus, according to Horn, was getting the Frozen musical ready for Broadway and that Frozen 2 hasn’t even been discussed!
Hasn’t even been discussed?! Frozen is the highest grossing animated film of all time! It’s slayed such cinematic animated dragons like Aladdin, Finding Nemo, and An American Tail: Fievel Goes West; the latter featuring the greatest use of animal related homophones this or any other galaxy has ever seen!
