This Sunday Ludacris will take the stage to host the 2014 Billboard Music Awards. While it’s impossible to know with 100% certainty who will walk away with one of the music industry’s most prestigious awards, we may have stumbled upon a few clues. The super-sleuths over at Yahoo Search have compiled some interesting data involving a few of the top nominees from this year’s show. We dusted off our comically over-sized magnify glass, examined the evidence, and using your Yahoo Search data feel that we may be able to predict the winners in three important categories.

Top Artist of the Year

Nominees: Katy Perry, Miley Cyrus, Bruno Mars, Justin Timberlake, Imagine Dragons

Yahoo Search results winner: Miley Cyrus

If this prediction comes to fruition, do you think Miley Cyrus, Miley Cyrus’ knee, or Seth Rogen will accept the award?

We really kneed to know.

Top Album of the Year

Nominees: Beyoncé, Eminem, Justin Timberlake, Luke Bryan, Drake

Yahoo Search results winner: Beyoncé

We really hope Solange’s older sister can break out of baby sis’ shadow and capture the Billboard Music Award. No offense to the other talented nominees, but we really want to hear Queen Bey’s acceptance speech.

Top Duo of the Year

Nominees: Imagine Dragons, One Republic, One Direction, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Florida Georgia Line

Yahoo Search results winner: One Direction

This would make two Top Duo Billboard Music Awards in a row for the popular boy band, who also took home the 2013 Billboard Music Awards for New Artist of the Year and Top Pop Artist.

Can the Internet surfing habits of the fans predict the winners? We’ll find out this Sunday!

The 2014 Billboard Music Awards will air live from Las Vegas this Sunday on ABC.
