CW fans glued to their television sets during Wednesday night’s season finale of Arrow* caught a glimpse of The Flash during a promo featuring our favorite archer and the fastest man alive. It was Barry Allen’s first appearance since falling into a coma after being struck by lightning during a two episode stint on Arrow earlier this season. Fans clamoring for information on our speedy superhero were finally rewarded for their patience yesterday, when the CW premiered a five minute extended trailer promoting their newest comic book inspired series.

Joining our nimbly nerdy hero this fall on the CW will be Jane the Virgin, a comedy centering around a chaste young woman who is accidentally inseminated by her gynecologist.

Here’s your first look at The Flash and Jane the Virgin!

Jane the Virgin

The Flash and Jane the Virgin will air on Mondays and Tuesdays, respectively, while new dramas iZombie and The Messengers will debut on the CW in 2015.

What do you think? Can The Flash sprint its way into our hearts? Are you excited about Jane the Virgin? Let us know!

* We feel your pain Oliver and Felicity shippers.
