Apparently, vampires do age.

While promoting two of his upcoming movies at the Cannes Film Festival, Robert Pattinson revealed to Variety that he will not be reprising his role as Edward Cullen in any future iterations of the popular Twilight franchise.

“I couldn’t do another Twilight movie; I’m too old,” the 28-year-old actor said about playing the role of a vampire over the age of 100.

Robertson also said that he never expected Twilight to be such a huge success.

“No one thought it was going to be a big deal,” Pattinson said. “We thought it was going to be like [Twilight director Catherine Hardwicke’s debut film] Thirteen.”

Does this news, oh how should we say this, bother you? Well, now you know how Robert Pattinson feels.
