You may be asking yourself, “Is Spike’s Guys’ Choice Awards related to the People’s Choice Awards?” The answer is no, but that didn’t stop us from watching the most masculine award show of the year last night! Some of Hollywood’s brightest stars came out to watch celebrities like Andy Samberg and The Walking Dead’s Norman Reedus take home Mantler Awards, as well as to honor Mark Wahlberg, who picked up the 2014 “Troops Choice” Entertainer of the Year award.
What else happened at this year’s show? Check out the four buzziest moments from the 2014 Guys’ Choice Awards!
1. Sandra Bullock wins the “Decade of Hotness” Award
Former co-stars Matthew McConaughey, Hugh Grant, and Keanu Reeves all showed up to say a few kind words and, of course, comment on the sustainable hotness of one Ms. Sandra Bullock.
But before Bullock was the Guys’ Choice, she was, of course, the People’s Choice!
3. Matthew McConaughey takes home the “Guy of the Year” Award
Not only did McConaughey add yet another prize to his ever-expanding trove of award show collectibles, he was also kind enough to give the fans what they wanted by uttering his now classic catchphrase “All Right, all right, all right.”
4. Emma Stone defeated Emma Watson to take home the “Hottest Emma” Award
Somewhere in Los Angeles, Emma Roberts is like, “Seriously, Spike? I wasn’t even nominated?”
