Eddie Vedder of Pearl Jam

From fun Star Trek parodies to hilarious Google translation versions, Frozen’s “Let It Go” has been covered in every way imaginable — but this is one rendition we really didn’t see coming.

During a live performance in Milan, Italy on Friday, legendary rock band Pearl Jam stopped performing their classic song “Daughter” to start singing “Let It Go.”

That’s right: “Let it Go” has been officially Pearl Jammed.

Though “Let It Go” is hardly the band’s first cover performance — throughout the years they’ve paid homage to titles by other famous musicians like The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Jimi Hendrix, and Led Zeppelin (to name just a few) — it’s certainly the most surprising. After all, who would have thought a Disney film would be included on a list with such rock heavyweights?

Led Zeppelin

No right, no wrong, no rules for Pearl Jam. They’re freeeeee!

Watch their performance below:

What do you think? Is Idina Menzel’s version still your favorite? Or has one of the many cover versions captured your top spot?
