Don’t stop believing… in true love!

While summer is typically a popular time to get married, it seems like celebrities have taken this to another level this year. The summer of 2014 has been filled with celebrity romance!

From Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s over-the-top ceremony that spanned two counties (France and Italy), to Olivia Palermo’s low-key affair in upstate New York, to Adam Levine and Behati Prinsloo’s Mexican celebration, celebs have been busy this season.

Take a look at some of the best weddings of the summer:

1. Adam Levine and Behati Prinsloo
In front of a slew of celebrity guests, Adam Levine and Behati Prinsloo tied the knot in scenic Los Cabos, Mexico. The reception, designed by wedding planners Yifat Oren and Stefanie Cove, featured a duet by Adam Levine and Stevie Nicks as well as the bride serenading her husband with the Bright Eyes song “First Day of My Life.”

Wedding Highlight: 22 Jump Street star Jonah Hill officiated the wedding!

2. Kim Kardashian and Kanye West
The location: Forte di Belvedere in Florence, Italy,

The date: May 24, 2014.

The occasion: Momentous

The wedding that almost broke the Internet holds the unofficial title of “Celebrity wedding of the year.” Kardashian wore a Givenchy Haute Couture lace gown, and the pair spent their honeymoon relaxing in Ireland and Prague.

Wedding Highlight: Only all of it. After all, this is the wedding that kicked off on the cover of Vogue.

3. Olivia Palermo and Johannes Huebl
Just your standard case of German model meets style maven. Palermo, adorning beautiful—yet unconventional—wedding attire by Carolina Herrera, tied the knot with Huebl during an intimate ceremony in Bedford, New York.

Wedding Highlight: Does the fact that these two look like they could become the new models for the candy couples pastry chefs place on top of wedding cakes count as a highlight?

4. Jessica Simpson and Eric Johnson
In front of 275 guests at the San Ysidro Ranch in Montecito, California, Jessica Simpson, whose appearance in a Caroline Herrera gown reportedly caused audible gasps, wed Eric Johnson.

“I saw my gorgeous wife coming towards me and she was crying,” Johnson said. “I think my heart was exploding a little bit.”

Wedding Highlight: Jessica Simpson’s kids, Maxwell and Ace, received standing ovations during the ceremony.

5. Scooter Braun and Yael Cohen
Justin Bieber’s longtime manager married Yael Cohen in a gorgeous ceremony held in Whistler, British Columbia, Canada. Professional actress and amateur celebrity journalist Sophia Bush snapped this romantic pic of the happy couple.

Wedding highlight: While few details are known about the wedding, Rivera wore a Monique Lhuillier gown while her partner in happily ever after was dressed in a Dolce & Gabbana suit.

7. Joseph Morgan and Persia White
The Originals star Joseph Morgan married his Vampire Diaries costar Persia White in an intimate ceremony in Ocho Rios, Jamaica, on July 5. The couple met while shooting season three of The Vampire Diaries, and also got engaged in Jamaica.

“It had a very rustic feel to it,” White told People. “There was nothing about it that was overwhelming or very huge or fabulous in that way. We tried to keep everything really intimate and beautiful and sort of going along with nature.”

Wedding highlight: According to People, the couple danced to Florence + The Machine’s “Never Let Me Go” for their first dance, but the band consisted of six Jamaican drummers, who got all the guests to hit the dance floor!

8. Piper Perabo and Stephen Kay
The Covert Affairs actress married producer and director Stephen Kay in New York City on July 26. After the ceremony, the couple headed on foot to their reception, with a New Orleans-style jazz band following behind them. The couple work together on Covert Affairs.

Wedding Highlight: Perabo skipped the traditional white dress, and instead opted for a long-sleeved silver and nude dress with a yellow veil.
