Even with a show that’s been off the air for more than a decade, you’re never too old to celebrate a birthday.

While chatting with fans during a Reddit AMA, actress Gillian Anderson, best known for her role as Special Agent Dana Scully on the sci-fi drama, The X-Files, received an interesting question about her former partner, Fox Mulder, played by David Duchovny.

Reddit user Novastella13 asked, “Hi Gillian! How’s your Sunday so far? It’s Mulder’s birthday tomorrow, what would Scully do to make it a happy one?”

Already tapped into her former FBI agent persona, the actress promptly answered, “Bake him a cake in the shape of a Super-soldier, with a blackberry coulis as black oil. And invite the Lone Gunmen over for a surprise birthday party.”

The X-Files, which aired on FOX from 1993 to 2002, followed the duo as they investigated “unsolved cases of paranormal phenomenon.”

Files fans will remember the Lone Gunmen as the trio of computer hackers/conspiracy theorists who often helped Scully and Mulder on cases and Super-soldiers as human looking aliens.

As Reddit contributors debated in the comments about the likelihood of the Lone Gunmen attending the party, one fan blissfully concluded, “I never knew I wanted this for my birthday, I do now.”

So, if her role as police officer Stella Gibson on BBC’s The Fall doesn’t quite work out, maybe Anderson should try her hand at party planning.
