How far would you be willing to go to save the people you love? Would you jump off of roofs and climb up the sides of buildings? How about if those buildings happen to be flying in mid-air at the time? Well, Tris Prior is willing to do all of that, and then some to get her mother out of harm’s way.

At least, that’s the premise of the first teaser trailer for Divergent: Insurgent, which hit the Internet on Wednesday morning. The short clip focuses on Tris – and Shailene Woodley’s new pixie cut, of course – as she journeys her way through an abandoned, crumbling cityscape in order to reach her mother. While the teaser doesn’t give away too much about the upcoming sequel, it does give audiences a good look at the heightened tension and impressive stunts they can expect in what is sure to be an action-packed adventure.

Although, as any Divergent fan knows, it’s not always easy to tell what’s reality, and what’s just a serum-induced hallucination.

The danger Tris will face in the film, however, is definitely real. Now on the run, she and Four (Theo James) are hoping to uncover even more answers about what’s really going on in their society, and hopefully, they’ll find someone who is willing to help them along the way. But with Jeanine (Kate Winslet), the power-hungry leader of the Erudite faction, gaining on them, they’ll need to face up to their past actions and their worst fears in order to have a hope at finding a better future.

And something tells us that whatever they find will be a lot scarier than flying through the air in a building that’s crumbling beneath her feet… that also happens to be on fire. Brace yourselves, Divergent: Insurgent is going to be a total thrill-ride.
