She may not have competed in Worlds with the rest of gang, but Jessie J has certainly earned her Barden Bella stripes. In a new interview with On Air with Ryan Seacrest, the British singer spoke candidly about being tapped to sing the feel-good ballad, “Flashlight,” for the Pitch Perfect 2 soundtrack.

“I’m blown away to be such a part of it because remember seeing the first one and falling in love with the film,” said Jessie J, who was also featured on the soundtrack of the first film. “They had ‘Party in the U.S.A.’ and ‘Price Tag’ in the first film. So to have kind of an original song, obviously written by Sia, and this song to be such a big part of [the movie], and being the person that takes it to the world– I just feel excited to be kind of a fake Barden Bella.”

Jessie J also released a music video for the single, which was penned by Sia, back in April. The video, which is peppered with scenes from the sequel, features the “Bang Bang” singer walking the halls of Barden University observing various interactions between students.
