Pretty Little Liars has always served up great on-screen intrigue, but this time it’s the off-screen drama that’s got our attention.

According to Cosmo, someone claiming to be a former production assistant on the popular ABC Family show took to Reddit last night to answer questions about the upcoming season — and they may (or may not) have let some major spoilers slip in the process.

One of the biggest piece of intel the alleged former PA seemingly divulged was the true identity of “A,” something fans have been wondering since the series premiered. Don’t want to get potentially spoiled? It’s best to stop reading now!

According to the supposed insider, “A’s” real identity is none other than Wren Kingston (Julian Morris) acting as Charles DiLaurentis. The whistle-blower also claimed during the Reddit Q&A that fans could expect to see Wren/Charles reveal himself to Alison (Sasha Pieterse) on prom night before swiftly disappearing once more.

On top of that shocking “spoiler,” the PA said that this season’s finale will find the girls reconnecting a few years later after getting the same mysterious text.

Of course, once PLL higher ups caught wind of what was going on, it didn’t take long for showrunner Marlene King to release a statement. The executive producer took to her Instagram account late on Wednesday to address the rumors.

“No one has been fired. No one has leaked the identity of Charles,” King wrote.

Sounds like if we take King’s word for it, none of the spoilers revealed on Reddit are true. Guess we’ll all just have to wait until the rest of this season plays out to find out for sure!

Pretty Little Liars airs Tuesdays at 8 p.m., on ABC Family.
