He may be one of the Fantastic Four, but Michael B. Jordan is wading into another superhero battle: Batman vs. Superman.

During an interview with People’s Choice last year at an Axe event, Jordan revealed he’s a Batman fan all the way.

“I was always a big Batman fan, because I feel he can take down pretty much anybody. He was the most well-prepared superhero. He had everything thought out already. Batman versus Superman? I feel like Batman would win, hands down. Because he already thought it out and calculated everything. If you ever got out of line, I’d have to know how to kill you, because I couldn’t trust you enough. I’m a geek when it comes to comic books,” Jordan said.

We imagine that means he’ll be front and center at the premiere of Ben Affleck and Henry Cavill’s forthcoming Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.

As for how his own superhero alter-ego stacks up? Jordan, who plays Fantastic Four’s Human Torch, said he got into shape for the role with a lot of exercise and an intense diet.

“I actually changed a lot of my eating habits. I eat like six or seven times a day, every two to three hours. Working out. And honestly it’s like 80 percent diet. It really is what you put into your body and getting rest and drinking a lot of water. I didn’t even do a lot of cardio, I just lifted a lot, and boxed. Boxing was my cardio,” he said.

Sounds like Batman and Superman should watch their backs!
