Haaaaave you met David Henrie (Luke Mosby) and Lyndsy Fonseca (Penny Mosby), aka the How I Met Your Mother kids? It’s been more than 10 years since the iconic CBS sitcom first aired and a lot has changed. At least, a lot has changed for the two kids of the hit show, who filmed their scenes when HIMYM first premiered and then never made another appearance.
Henrie and Fonseca played the present-day kids of lead character Ted Mosby (Josh Radnor), but since the majority of the show took place in the past they were forever frozen at the same age. While their characters stayed the same, Fonseca and Henrie continued to grow up behind the scenes and on the screen in different shows and movies. Check out what they look like and what they’re up to 10 year later, below!
David Henrie / Luke Mosby
After wrapping his role in How I Met Your Mother, Henrie went on to have a recurring role on Disney Channel’s That’s So Raven, before landing a lead role as Justin Russo in Wizards of Waverly Place alongside Selena Gomez. Lately, he’s been taking a break from the small screen to work on some films, including Paul Blart: Mall Cop 2, Walt Before Mickey, and the upcoming movie Max & Me with Twilight‘s Ashley Greene. Sounds like he’s on the way to having a legen…wait for it….dary career!
Lyndsy Fonseca / Penny Mosby
Fonseca has been making the TV rounds since portraying Penny on How I Met Your Mother. She joined Desperate Housewives as Dylan Mayfair in 2007 and stayed in the role for two years, before landing the lead in The CW‘s Nikita, where she played the kick-butt Alex. Trust us, you wouldn’t have wanted to do a slap bet with that character. Though the show ended up getting canceled in 2013, a little while later Fonseca joined the cast of Marvel’s Agent Carter for a few episodes. She just recently wrapped production as the lead in the upcoming film Moments of Clarity.
