Earlier today the two superstars announced details behind their upcoming “Future Now: The Tour,” which is scheduled to kick off in the summer of 2016. The former Camp Rock co-stars appeared on Good Morning America and expressed their excitement about the opportunity to reunite and perform in front of their fans.
“The most important thing is taking the show on the road and getting to share this experience with all the fans that have supported this music for the past, you know, couple of years,” Lovato said.
Jonas, who served as the musical and creative director for Lovato’s 2014 “Neon Lights” tour, echoed Lovato’s sentiment when the pair appeared on the Elvis Duran Show.
“To see those songs come to life with the fans in real time is the best feeling,” Jonas said. “We’ll be working hard with our creative teams to make the best tour possible.”
The “Future Now Tour” will kick off on June 24, 2016 at the BB&T Center in Sunrise, Florida. The summer music extravaganza will visit over 40 cities throughout the U.S. and Canada, including stops in New York City, Los Angeles, Toronto, Montreal, Chicago, Las Vegas, and Vancouver. The tour will conclude on Saturday, September 17, 2016 at The Forum in Los Angeles, California.
Tickets for the general public go on sale Saturday, November 7th at 10:00 a.m.
