Life-Size 2 fans can breathe a sigh of relief.
Come on. Can you really make Life-Size 2 without Tyra Banks?
“There is no one else that can play Eve but me, thank you very much!” Banks told Variety. “I’m just joking with you, but yes, I am going to be Eve.”
The original family comedy co-starred an 11-year-old pre-Freaky Friday Lindsay Lohan as a grieving young girl who casts a spell in the hopes of resurrecting her late mother, but instead brings her Eve Doll (Banks) to life. As for Lohan potentially reprising her role as Casey Stuart, Variety reports that, as of now, the Mean Girls star has no involvement in the film.
“One thing is it’s a very precious project to the Disney Channel so they’ve been doing a lot of re-writes and making sure that this script is really right,” Banks continued. “I’m really excited about it. I think Life-Size is so popular that it can be a feature film because it has such a cult following, so I’m really interested to see what the ratings are going to do for that. I think it’s going to be a blockbuster on TV.”
So when can we expect to see Life-Size 2 come to life on the Disney Channel?
“I think it will be 2016,” Banks said. “We’re looking at it as a holiday movie so hopefully holiday 2016.”
