The Big Short star Margot Robbie possesses a chameleon-like ability to play almost any role, so what happens when the Australian actress auditions for one of the most iconic scenes in cinematic history?

You’re about to find out.

W Magazine asked asked the star of the hotly anticipated supervillain film, Suicide Squad, to audition for Marlon Brando’s Role in the cinematic classic On the Waterfront.

While some may be unfamiliar with the 1954 film, you’ve undoubtedly heard Brando’s famous “I coulda been a contender” line used throughout popular culture. Before the audition, Robbie was understandably nervous about attempting to reenact such a famous monologue.

“Auditions make me so nervous,” an anxious Robbie said as she prepared for the role. “Even [when] pretending.”

Robbie’s portrayal of Brando’s famous character is, as you’d expect, amazing, but our favorite part of the audition is when Robbie finishes her scene and provides a spot-on imitation of Marlon Brando.

One thing’s for sure: Margot Robbie “ain’t no bum.” Take a look above!

You can see Margot Robbie team with Tina Fey in Whiskey Tango Foxtrot, which arrives in theaters on March 4th.
