Get ready to return to Cypress Rhodes University! Freeform has just announced that they’re currently working on developing a Greek made-for-TV movie!
According to Variety, Greek: The Reunion would center around Cypress Rhodes University alums returning to campus to celebrate their five year reunion. Series creator Patrick Sean Smith is set to executive produce the upcoming movie along with Shawn Piller and Lloyd Segan.
There’s no official word yet on who will be returning for the TV event, but during an interview with People’s Choice in 2014, Scott Michael Foster, who played Cappie, said that most of the cast would definitely be willing to partake in some sort of a reunion.
“I don’t know if it will actually happen or not but a lot of the cast has stayed in contact. We’re all still close friends,” Foster told People’s Choice at the time. “I know that a lot of people would still be willing to do it. It comes down to the circumstances. It depends on the powers that be.”
Now that a reunion is officially happening, we hope the cast is still interested! If anything, we’d especially love to see Cappie reunite with Casey (Spencer Grammar) and Evan Chambers (Jake McDorman)! And of course, we’d love to see what Casey’s brother, Rusty (Jacob Zachary) is up to now!
Greek: The Reunion is set to premiere on the network sometime during the holiday season, according to Deadline.
