The four members that make up BLG started teasing early Monday (May 9) on Twitter and Instagram that a band announcement was coming, and indeed the news that fans had been hoping for was announced: AN ANNIVERSARY TOUR!
A lot has changed since the four-member band, made up of Martin Johnson, Paul DiGiovanni, John Keefe, and Bryan Donahue started on the scene. One main difference? Donahue, the band’s bassist, left to pursue solo projects and was replaced by Morgan Dorr.
While the member switch-up was a little concerning to fans when the news was first announced late-2011/early-2012, Dorr proved during BLG’s tour in late 2012 that he was up to the high-fun standards of the band.
After that tour and the release of the band’s third album, Crazy World, in December 2012, they decided to take go on hiatus to work on personal side projects…that is, until now.
Prepare to fall heels over head in love with BLG’s debut album all over again, as the band will be playing the album live in its entirety on this 10th anniversary tour!
Take a holiday, go on a great escape to one of the six tour stops (don’t let a little thunder stop you), feel like you’re on top of the world and rock out until it’s five minutes to midnight. Do all of that and you’ll be our hero/heroine*.
