Draco Malfoy Looks Like A Strict Dad In ‘Harry Potter And The Cursed Child’ Portrait

Harry Potter and the Cursed Child has just unveiled its last wave of cast photos, which means we finally get to see what Draco Malfoy looks like all grown up!

The portrait, which was released early Thursday (June 2) morning via the play’s official twitter account, features a very stoic looking Draco (Alex Price) standing behind his young son, Scorpius (Anthony Boyle). Meanwhile, for as much as Malfoy looks unapproachable, Scorpius looks much more sympathetic.

Interestingly enough, much like Albus, Scorpius’ school robes have been left blank meaning we have no idea what house he’ll be sorted into when he gets to Hogwarts— remember, he’s starting this year, too, just like Rose and Albus are!

Seeing Draco’s son interact with Albus and Rose is something we’re definitely looking forward to. Draco’s rivalry with Harry, Ron, and Hermione is one that’s very well known, but we think it’d be a fantastic twist if their children ended up being friends in the end.

Either way, we can’t wait to find out more about Scorpius, and hopefully hear about what Draco has been up to since the events of Deathly Hallows!

Harry Potter and the Cursed Child opens on London’s West End for previews on June 7. The script-book version of the eighth Harry Potter story is available for purchase beginning July 31.
