EXCLUSIVE VIDEO: Peyton List Predicts Where ‘The Tomorrow People’ Would Have Picked Up In Season 2

It’s been two years since Peyton List wrapped up her run on The CW’s short-lived series Tomorrow People, but that doesn’t mean she’s stopped thinking about what would have been for her character.

With List poised to make her grand return to the network with the new fall drama, Frequency, People’s Choice caught up with the actress at the CW Upfronts in New York City last month to find out where she thinks the Tomorrow People would have gone if it had been renewed for a second season.

“I think we may have actually done a time jump,” List, who played Cara Coburn on the show, told People’s Choice. “I can’t say that with any certainty— you have to get [executive producer] Phil Klemmer, but I think they were setting up to maybe jump two or three years down the line and see what would have happened after that.”

Considering season one left off with Stephen (Robbie Amell) opening up a time vortex, List's time jump theory makes perfect sense.

Regardless of whether or not the series would have actually jumped forward a few years, one thing List is certain of, is that her character would have wound up being the leader of the Tomorrow People. That being said, the actress also teased that Cara's personal life would have probably gone through a bit of a shake up had the series gotten another season. Check out what she had to say about that above!

Coming up next, List will star in the network’s new series Frequency, a show about a detective who suddenly realizes she’s able to speak to her deceased father and former detective, Frank Sullivan.
