When Kim Kardashian said last week that husband Kanye West would make up his rained-out Governors Ball performance and late night New York City pop up show, she sure wasn’t kidding. The rapper just announced his first North American tour in three years!
Kanye’s Saint Pablo Tour will kick off on Thursday, August 25 in Indianapolis and conclude on Saturday, October 29 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Back in April, West sent out a tweet that hinted at a forthcoming tour that would accompany his seventh studio album, The Life of Pablo.
“I’m so happy that you guys like the music,” he wrote. “I’m working on the tour designs now…”
The upcoming tour will cover 40 cities in the US and Canada including Boston, New York City, Chicago, Los Angeles, Miami, and Toronto.
As reported by Billboard.com, Kanye told the Steve Harvey Morning Show back in May that he hopes his tour is as inspirational to kids as Disney was to him.
“We’re just working on some of the ideas right now,” West told Steve Harvey. “I’m trying to literally inspire these kids the way Disney inspired me. The way, when I first saw the original Star Wars; it’s that conversation.”
Tickets for the general public will go on sale June 18.
What do you think? Do you plan to attend one of Kanye’s shows?
