Study Reveals Which Superhero Is The Most ‘Ill-Equipped,’ And The Answer Might Surprise You

Turns out you don’t need to watch Dawn of Justice to find out who would win a battle between Batman and Superman.

The University of Leicester recently released a 7-year, scientifically researched study that utilized scientific principles to determine which superhero is the best-equipped of all. Unsurprisingly, the Man of Steel captured the top superlatives as the study suggested that if we were going according to the Law of Energy Conservation, which we always try do, Superman’s “super flare attack and possession of high density muscle tissue” would make him the best-equipped and most-powerful superhero in the world.

Yet another in a long line of setbacks for Underdog.

While Superman was deemed the best, his superhero frenemy Batman was found to be the most ill-equipped superhero. The research suggested that Batman would struggle to survive when using his cape to glide to a landing due to the velocity of his movement.

“This inability to perform even the simplest of superhero feats suggest Batman would struggle to get off the ground, let alone save Gotham from the likes of The Joker and Bane,” the study states.

Wolverine, Thor, and Mystique received honorable mention status as they were placed in the upper-tier of superheros due to their accelerated regenerative abilities, high energy output, and the fact that they’re capable of gene manipulation.

(H/T Yahoo Movies!)

What do you think? Do you agree that Batman is the most ill-equipped superhero?
