Demi Lovato knows a thing or two about how to keep her fans cool for the summer: free ice cream!
Lovato and Nick Jonas surprised fans in Atlanta by dropping by in a promotional truck and handing out ice cream and premium tickets to the opening night show of their Future Now Tour at the Philips Arena. While the two former Disney Channel stars engaged with fans and posed for pictures, their meet and greet was unfortunately cut short due to Mother Nature’s (apparent) dismay at being unable to secure front row seats to the show — and by that we mean the event was forced to wrap early due to thunderstorms.
“Nooooo so so so sorry we had to cut the event short due to safety issues,” the “Really Don’t Care” singer tweeted. “Thank you @MarriottRewards and ATL’s Q100 for having us!!”
Lovato and Jonas’ 42 date North American tour begins tonight in Atlanta and concludes September 17 in Inglewood, California. The co-headlining tour will promote Lovato’s 2015 album Confident and Jonas’ third studio album Last Year Was Complicated.
You can purchase tickets to the Future Now Tour right here.
