Arthur may have taught us all valuable lessons about family, friendship, reading, and more, but there’s one glaring error you may have missed in the beloved animated series.
The discovery, which was pointed out on Twitter by an observant fan and later shared by On Air with Ryan Seacrest, is more of an artistic technicality, but even so, once you spot it, you won’t be able to unseen it!
It turns out, that even though Arthur’s ears sit high at the top of his head, whenever our favorite aardvark is using headphones, they’re placed where the ears should be and not necessarily over the ears themselves.
“EXPLAIN THIS.” wrote one gobsmacked fan on Twitter. The Tweet also included a screen cap from an episode of the series featuring Arthur wearing his headphones far away from his ears.
After that, it didn’t take long for another fan to point out that Arthur isn’t the only one who doesn’t cover his ears when using headphones. As it turns out, his whole family tends to wear them like that.
We’re not going to lie, the headphones thing is a little odd now that it’s been pointed out to us, but at least it’s consistent throughout the series!
