As far as sports dramadys go, we can’t deny that ABC Family’s Make It Or Break It is among one of our all-time favorites, so naturally, we flipped when we discovered some of our beloved on-screen gymnasts recently reunited.
Actresses Ayla Kell, Cassandra Scerbo, and Josie Loren — who played Payson Keeler, Lauren Tanner, and Kaylie Cruz, respectively, on the series — got together at Lucky Strike bowling alley in Hollywood a few weeks back for the Matt Leinart 10th Annual Celebrity Bowl For Charity.
The girls took to Instagram to share photos of the reunion, with Kell noting that the ladies were joined at the event by some of the actual gymnasts they worked with on the set to make sure they stuck all their landings.
“With my fellow gymnasts! Andddd the actual gymnasts who made us look like we knew what we ere doing haha,” wrote Kell. “Love all these ladies so much.”
Meanwhile, Loren re-grammed Kell’s shot, adding in a heartfelt caption of her own.
“#miobi coming together for @mattleinartqb’s amazing cause last night! I’m so lucky that I got to share such a special part of my life with these ladies and even luckier that we continue to get to do life together,” wrote Loren. “I [love] u guys!!!!”
Inspired by the 2006 hit comedy Stick It, Make It Or Break It followed the lives of three exceptionally talented teen gymnasts training at the Rocky Mountain Gymnastics Training Center with the hopes of going all the way and winning gold at the 2012 Summer Olympics. The series ran from 2009 to 2012.
It’s great to know that these ladies still manage to keep in touch even though it’s been four years since the series ended!
