Her co-star, Miles Teller, recently revealed to Variety that he’s also unclear about his involvement in the final installment of the franchise, which is set to premiere on television instead of on the big screen.
“I’ve talked to nobody,” Teller told Variety of the upcoming shakeup in the series.
Teller said that when he and his fellow castmates signed on to the franchise, it was with the intention of telling the full story on the big screen. According to the actor, however, everything is a bit blurred now that Lionsgate is moving the final film to the small screen.
“When we all signed on for the first one we had every intention of finishing it theatrically,” Teller told Variety. “We signed on for x amount of movies and you take that all into consideration. We wanted to see that storyline finish. You know, it’s moving into a different format. So who knows?”
At Comic-Con last month, Woodley told press that she needed to “talk and find out what the details are” before deciding on whether or not she’ll be coming back to portray Tris.
It sounds like she and Teller may need to have a chat!
