National Geographic Channel’s documentary series, Years of Living Dangerously has just released a compelling new trailer for its upcoming second season featuring some of your favorite stars.

The series, which premiered back in 2014 centers around global warming and features a different public figure each episode who is tasked with investigating the effects of climate change across the globe. Once the celebs arrives at the location in question, they learn about the effects global warming has had, and meet with experts to discuss what could happen if we don’t take action to halt climate change, and more importantly, what can be done to prevent the damage from going any further.

The Vampire Dairies actor Ian Somerhalder is back for a second round this season, and it looks as though this time around he may be teaming up with his wife and Twilight Saga alum, Nikki Reed.

Other environmentally conscious Hollywood influencers set to showcase the effects of climate change first-hand are model Gisele Bundchen, and actors Jack Black, Aasif Mandvi, Cecily Strong, Ty Burrell, and Joshua Jackson.

If the trailer is anything to go by, it looks as though season 2 of the Emmy Award Winning series is set to pack just as big of a punch as the first season did.

Years of Living Dangerously season 2 premieres on the National Geographic Channel on Sunday, October 30.
