ABC may have pulled the plug on Castle, but it won’t be long before you see Stana Katic back on your TV.

Lifetime has just announced Katic’s indie film, Sister Cities, will premiere on the network on Saturday, Sept. 17.

The upcoming drama is based on Collett Freedman’s acclaimed stage play of the same name, and it’s safe to say the world premiere of Sister Cities is a long time coming— especially when you consider the fact that Katic wrapped filming on the project back in 2015.

The indie film follows the journey of four estranged sisters named Carolina, Dallas, Baltimore, and Austin, all of whom come together again to mourn the loss of their mother. Tensions rise, however, when they discover a secret that could ruin what little bond they have left.

When the film premieres, Katic won’t be the only familiar face you see among the cast. Playing Katic’s fellow sisters are The Good Wife’s Jess Weixler, Gossip Girl’s Michelle Trachtenberg, and Pretty Little Liars star Troian Bellisario.

We’re definitely looking forward to watching the mystery unfold between the sisters when the drama premieres next month!
