Daniel Radcliffe may have his plate full with other projects, but that doesn’t mean the actor has completely ruled out the possibility of dusting off those signature round-rimmed glasses and playing Harry Potter once again.
With Harry Potter and the Cursed Child making huge waves in the theater world, there’s definitely potential for Radcliffe to come back and play an older version of the Boy Who Lived. And while the 27-year-old Brit isn’t ruling that out as an option, he’s not exactly itching to jump back to J.K. Rowling’s wizarding world just yet.
In an interview with Andy Cohen Live on Sirius XM, Radcliffe revealed that he’s keeping his options open when it comes to the possibility of revsiting Harry.
“You never want to close a door on anything, especially something that’s been so good to me, but I do think, at the moment, I’m definitely not at a stage where I would feel comfortable going back to it,” explained Radcliffe according to E News. “Who knows if in 10, 20 years I would feel differently about that, and I think I’ve got a little while before I’m sort of age-appropriate for this Harry.”
For now, it sounds like the only plans Radcliffe has to plunge back into the world of Hogwarts involves getting his hands on a copy of the Cursed Child script book.
Meanwhile, we’ll just be over here crossing our fingers and hoping that somewhere down the line, Daniel Radcliffe will end up donning that infamous lighting bolt scar again!
