Westworld isn’t set to premiere until later this fall, but that doesn’t mean you can’t familiarize yourself with the setting for HBO’s upcoming sci-fi thriller a bit early.

The series, based on the 1973 film written and directed by novelist Michael Crichton, takes place within a futuristic theme park called Delos populated with lifelike androids.

For those unfamiliar with Delos,, is set up like a mock tourist destination site and does a great job of introducing you to the park.  Right off the bat, you can tell Westworld offers an experience like no other and prides itself as being “meticulously crated and artfully designed park offering an unparalleled, immersive world where you have the freedom to become who you’ve always wanted to be.”

Scrolling over the different sections highlights additional values that Westworld has to offer, and also gives you a sneak peek at life within the theme park confinements.

Overall, the website does a great job of getting us pumped up for the brand-new series, and we can’t wait to see what unfolds when it finally premieres later this year!

Spearheaded by Jonathan Nolan, and executive produced by J.J. Abrams, Westward stars Anthony Hopkins, Ed Harris, Evan Rachel Wood, James Marsden, Thandie Newton, and Jeffrey Wright.

Westworld premieres Sunday, October 2 at 9 p.m. on HBO.
