5 Seconds of Summer just proved they’ll pretty much do anything to make sure their fans have a good time during their Sounds Live Feels Live Tour!

In an impulsive move that was totally rock ’n’ roll, the Australian band decided to give their fans in Spokane, Washington a huge seat upgrade after they noticed the general admission floor was not full to capacity.

In a video posted by the fan account 5SOS Updates, we can hear drummer Ashton Irwin inviting fans to come on down to the floor and join in on the fun for the last six songs of the band’s set.

“You see that big empty space on the back on the floor? I want you to fill it up. I want everyone to walk into that back part. Don’t let anyone stop you. Just go,” Irwin told fans. “Everybody back there. Everyone down, lets go! We’re gonna wait till the back part fills up.”

It didn’t take long for fans to follow Irwin’s marching orders and scurry on down to the pit. It’s clear, however, that fans who weren’t supposed to be in the general admission area must have been met with some resistance. After 5SOS played a few more songs, guitarist Luke Hemmings took to the mic to ask why the pit looked so sparse.

“Why is there no one in this pit over here? Why has security moved everyone out of this thing? That was the whole idea!” says Hemmings in another clip uploaded to Twitter. “There’s no one over here in this gap anymore. And there’s no one over here in this gap anymore.”

Despite the fact that security must have stepped in to make sure things didn’t get too crowded and everyone stayed safe, at the end of the day, 5 Seconds of Summer wants you to know that everything they do is for their fans.

“I just want the fans to be as close as possible,” Irwin said on Twitter later of the impulsive move. “The concerts are about you. Always. Rock on.”
