With each proceeding day of the work week turning the long weekend into a distant memory, it’s safe to say Summer 2016 is officially in the books. And while the picnics, pool parties, barbecues and beach days seem to be fleeting fast, the music that acted as the soundtrack to the season will no doubt be dominating the radio and record charts even as the leaves change.

Some tracks had “song of the summer” potential from the moment they were released in early spring. Other tracks were sleeper hits that rose to prominence only after a bigger artist gave the song a shoutout. Either way, these replay-worthy tunes full of catchy hooks and melodies.

According to the people behind the streaming giant Spotify, who’ve diligently been keeping tabs on our streams from June 1-August 31, these are the most streamed songs of Summer 2016.

Canada’s crowning musical jewel, Drake, actually claimed the No. 1 and No. 2 spot with two cuts off his April album Views. And music’s resident bad gal, Rihanna, secured two spots on the list thanks to features on Drake’s “Too Good” and Calvin Harris’ “This Is What You Came For.” EDM-infused hits made a number of appearances on the list and Justin Timberlake’s happy-go-lucky comeback record “Can’t Stop The Feeling” off the film soundtrack to Trolls secured the No. 6 spot.
