When it comes to television, it’s clear that leading ladies demand the big bucks! Forbes just revealed their list of the world’s highest paid TV actresses and this year’s crop features more than a few of your favorite stars.

Coming in the number one spot for the fifth year in a row is none other than Modern Family star Sofia Vergara. The Columbian born actress topped the list, raking in a whopping $43 million this past year thanks to her role as the hilarious Gloria Delgado-Pritchett and for her various endorsement and licensing deals.

The Big Bang Theory star Kaley Cuoco came in second, making a reported $24.5 million in the past year, proving she wasn’t joking when she recently told Jimmy Kimmel that wondering whether or not the series will return for season 11 is a “very expensive question.”  It’s currently estimated that the actress makes $1 million per episode filmed of the hit CBS sit-com.

Coming in third is none other than Mindy Kaling who earned a cool $15 million for The Mindy Project. The actress serves both as the star and the showrunner of the hit Hulu series so it’s not surprising to hear she’s bringing in top dollar for all her hard work!

Meanwhile, Shondaland veteran Ellen Pompeo and actress Mariska Hargitay tied for fourth place darling $14.5 million each for their roles on Grey’s Anatomy and Law and Order SVU, respectively.

Rounding out the top five is none other than fellow Shondaland star Kerry Washington who plays Olivia Pope on ABC’s hit drama, Scandal. The actress earned $13.5 million over the past 12 months, effectively securing the fifth place spot on this year’s list.
