‘Supergirl’ Boss Says Superman Spinoff With Tyler Hoechlin Could Happen Down The Line

Fans hoping to see more of Tyler Hoechiln’s rendition of the Man of Steel on Superigirl may be in luck! It turns out, showrunners haven’t ruled out the possibility of giving Superman his own show somewhere down the line.

According to ComicBook.com, executive producer Andrew Kreisberg recently opened up about the possibility of developing a Superman TV series led by Hoechlin during a recent screening of Supergirl.

While Kreisberg told reporters in attendance that a solo series for the Man of Steel isn’t off the table, he stressed that it’s not at the forefront of their minds.

“I’m not going to sit here and say that there’s never going to b a world in which there is a Superman TV show and Tyler’s going to star in it,” said Kreisberg according to ComicBook.com. “I don’t know what the future holds. But right now, that’s not our focus.”

While we may not have seen the Man of Steel make an appearance this week, there’s no reason to believe we won’t see him return to National City in the future! According to Kresiberg, everyone at Supergirl is currently hard at work trying to weave him back into the storyline as they love the dynamic between Clark and Kara (Melissa Benoist) just as much as the fans do.
