The CW’s big superhero crossover event is just around the corner and now, we finally have some insight into how it might play out.

According to Entertainment Weekly, executive producer Marc Guggenheim revealed how Supergirl, The Flash, and Arrow will be joining forces during a press screening for Arrow and Legends of Tomorrow on Tuesday (Oct. 19).

It turns out, the events that set the epic crossover in motion actually start near the end of an episode of Supergirl. Guggenheim reportedly said that we’ll see a shot of Cisco (Carlos Valdes) and Barry (Grant Gustin) seeking Kara’s help, thus kickstarting this year’s crossover.

“The story that’s being told has a beginning, middle, and end: a beginning in Flash, a middle in Arrow and an end in Legends,” explained Guggenheim according to EW. “But Supergirl is very much a part of the whole thing, so we are crossing over four shows— four shows in three parts.”

Thanks to a few social media posts from the likes of Grant Gustin, and Caity Lotz, we know filming for the crossover has already happened.

We can’t wait to see this year’s big event unfold on television— especially after seeing how much fun some of our favorite CW stars had on set together, and hearing Guggenheim explain how things get put into motion!

The Flash-Arrow-Supergirl-Legends of Tomorrow crossover is set to premiere sometime in November.
