Parting is such sweet sorrow and nobody knows that better than the cast and crew of Pretty Little Liars.

Fans who have been following the stars of the show know the the girls have been posting heartfelt goodbyes to everything from their bedrooms to their on-screen mothers as filming on the final season neared its end. As touching as those have been, it’s the farewells they posted in honor of the series wrapping for good on Thursday (Oct. 26) that are making us sob over the end of the Liars’ time in Rosewood.

Actresses Ashley Benson, Troian Bellisario, Shay Mitchell, Lucy Hale, and Sasha Pieterse all took to Instagram to post about wrapping filming on the series that they’ve been working on for seven seasons.

First up, Benson posted a fun throwback photo of herself and all of the Liars, captioning it with “Seven years later the day has come to say goodbye.”

Similarly, Hale also shared a fun photo of all of the girls together laying in a circle on the grass.

“The day has come to say goodbye to my second home, a character that helped shape me and so many people who mean the world to me. Bittersweet feelings today, but so proud of what we’ve done,” wrote Hale in the caption.

Pieterse, on the other hand, opted for a photo of everyone doing their “Sshh!” faces, adding in a heartfelt comment about her final day on set.

“Although this day will be filled with happy and sad tears, I’ll forever be grateful to share them with the ones i’ve come to call family,” wrote Pieterse.

Amidst the tear-jerking goodbyes, Mitchell’s farewell was a breath of fresh air. The actress who plays Emily opted for a fun final message to her cast and crew, commenting on the fact that if the Liars have learned anything in seven years, it’s to perfect the “we’re in trouble deer-in-headlights look.”

The series’ official Instagram also posted a touching goodbye to the series’ leading ladies.

“To the girls that have forever changed our lives: thank you for giving us panic attacks every time we get a text from an unknown number, showing us what it means to have an unbreakable friendship, and making us fall in love with Rosewood – even though, let’s be real, that town is crazy. That’s a series wrap on production for #PrettyLittleLiars… We can’t wait for you to see the final 10 episodes April 2017.”

If we’re already this emotional over the the cast and crew’s final day on set of Pretty Little Liars, we can’t imagine the mess of emotions we’ll be in when the show actually comes to a close next year!
