Bruno Mars may have taken a break from his own music, but that doesn’t mean the “24K Magic” singer shied away from the studio during his mini hiatus!

The singer recently swung by New York’s 103.5 KTU radio station where he dished on what it was like to hop in the studio with Adele. The Brit tapped Mars while she was in the midst of working on her latest album, 25, for which Mars co-wrote the emotional ballad, “All I Ask.”

“She was singing in the booth and I’m not exaggerating at all, and the water was vibrating— like a scene in Jurassic Park,” recalled Mars. “She’s got some pipes on her.”

Likening Adele to Jurassic Park may sound strange at first, but now that Mars has explained it, we totally see where he’s going with the huge compliment. Adele’s voice certainly commands a room, but it’s crazy to think that her vocal prowess is even greater than we ever thought possible!

Adele and Mars may have collated behind the scenes on “All I Ask,” but would the two ever consider recording a proper duet together? According to Mars, it’s not off the table as far as he’s concerned.

The “Uptown Funk” singer told fans hoping to see the two musicians duet together that he’s waiting on Adele to make the first move, joking that the “Hello” singer should shoot him an email so they could get to planning.

Here’s hoping Adele answers Mars’ pleas and reaches out soon— we’d love to see these two hit the stage and the studio together at some point!
