There is another new trailer for Universal Picture’s Sing and it’s filled with musical tryouts and breakout star moments.

The trailer begins with the Minions doing a little singing test before the real movie trailer starts and we aren’t mad about seeing the cute yellow guys testing out their vocal abilities, even though they aren’t in this movie.

When the real teaser does start all eyes are on Rosita the pig (voiced by Reese Witherspoon) as its clear that the tryouts for the singing competition are about to get underway.

As the tryouts start we see numerous characters showing off their musical skills on stage including, a crocodile doing a rap and a bunny trio singing Sir Mix A Lot’s “Baby Got Back,” before Rosita runs out and trips on stage.

Throughout the teaser, it’s clear that not everyone who is trying out comes from the same background. We quickly learn that the gorilla, Johnny (voiced by Taron Egerton) comes from a line of criminals, but all he wants to do is sing and not be in his father’s gang.

Meena the elephant (voiced by Tori Kelly), on the other hand, has really intense parents who don’t help with her confidence problems. Meanwhile, Ash the punk-rock porcupine (voiced by Scarlett Johansson), has been betrayed by someone she loves and must focus on her music instead of heartache.

As we are introduced to most of the main characters, “Dream On,” plays over their rehearsal montage and then we see each one breaking out into the star they were destined to be.

Based on the teaser we know everyone is going to get a shot at being a star, but which animal actually has the talent to win it all? Will it be the elephant, the porcupine, the gorilla or the pig? It looks like you’ll just have to wait and see!
