Kevin James’ new CBS sitcom, Kevin Can Wait, has been pulling out all the stops in its first season when it comes to booking big name guest stars, but the latest actor confirmed to appear is a real show-stopper.

According to Variety, Adam Sandler will be making his debut on the CBS comedy next week.

James and Sandler have starred in numerous films together, including I Now Pronounce You Chuck & Larry, Grown Ups and Grown Ups 2. Sandler also guest starred on James’ former CBS hit, The King of Queens back in the day.

According to Variety, Sandler will play Kevin’s former patrol partner, who has a new rookie partner named Nick, played by UFC middleweight champion, Chris Weidman. In the episode Kevin is jealous that his old partner is so happy without him by his side, which can only lead to a lot of jokes and possible embarrassment.

Sandler will be the second big guest star from James’ comedy past to appear on the funny show. Everybody Loves Raymond alum Ray Romano has already starred on one episode, where he played Kevin’s new neighbor, who was annoying and had a clip-on man bun!

For even more laughs, tune in for Sandler’s episode of Kevin Can Wait called, “Who’s Better Than Us?” which airs next week on November 7 at 8 p.m. on CBS.
