Raven-Symone just proved you can have your cake and eat it too!

In a surprise move that sent That’s So Raven fans into a frenzy, the actress announced in October that she’d be giving up her gig at The View in order to star and executive produce a new That’s So Raven spinoff for the Disney Channel.

Symone and the House of Mouse marked the actress’ grand return to the Disney family by presenting her with a huge cake on her first day back at the network.

“Feels good to be back!” wrote Symone via Instagram where she shared a photo of herself posing with a huge white sheet cake with blue detailing.

The adorable cake is decorated with the official Disney Channel logo and also features “Welcome home Raven” in bold black lettering. We also love that the wall behind the actress just so happens to be decorated with photos of Symone as Raven Baxter from That’s So Raven’s original run.

For her part, Symone is clearly all smiles, which makes us even more excited for her return to the Disney Channel and start the process of bringing the That’s So Raven spinoff to life.

There’s no word yet on what the official title of the new sequel series will be, but we do know a bit about what the plot will entail!

When news first broke of the upcoming project at the end of October, Deadline reported that the new show would feature Symone playing an older version of Raven Baxter.

In the new series, Baxter is a single mother who currently has her hands full raising two pre-teen children, one of whom has inherited her uncanny ability to gaze into the future.

There’s no word yet on when we can expect the series to air on The Disney Channel, but we’re hoping we get more details as the series moves further and further into production.
