It’s been nearly three decades since the world was first introduced to The Wonder Years, but Fred Savage and Josh Saviano just proved that some things never change!

It turns out, the pair, who played besties Kevin Arnold and Paul Pfeiffer on the hit ABC coming-of-age series, are still the best of friends to this day. In fact, the buddies recently got together over the weekend to hit up a New York Rangers hockey game together.

Their attendance at the game didn’t go unnoticed— in fact, Savage and Saviano even got themselves featured on the jumbotron at Madison Square Garden!

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the team played Wonder Years clips on the arena’s screens before panning the camera over to where the friends were sitting.

Savage took to Instagram on Monday (Nov. 7) to commemorate the moment by posting a photo of him and Saviano cheering while being featured on the jumbotron.

“Jumobtron game on point,” wrote the actor in the caption.

Getting featured on the jumbotron is great, but it looks like the fun didn’t stop there! Later, Saviano took to his own Instagram and shared a photo of him and Savage posing on the ice in the goalie net after the game.

“You know it’s a good night at a @nyrangers game when @thefredsavage and I end up in the net #epicnight #lgr,” wrote Saviano.

It’s great to see that Savage and Saviano still get the chance to hang out from time to time and we love knowing that these two are still friends!
