Tom Holland could’ve been in Jurassic World, and we’re kind of freaking out.

The Spider-Man: Homecoming star just revealed that he actually talked to the creators of Jurassic World about appearing in the sequel, but he wasn’t able to make it work.

When asked by The Hollywood Reporter for their Next Gen 2016 issue about possibly acting in the dinosaur film, the 20-year-old actor admitted he had already thought about it.

“I don’t know if I’m available for that,” Holland told The Hollywood Reporter. “We had a chat one time. There is a role there, but I don’t think I’ll be available to do it, unfortunately.”

Oh no, say it isn’t so, Tom! Couldn’t you just imagine Holland running alongside Chris Pratt fighting dinosaurs and saving the world? It would’ve been awesome.

Luckily, we still have Holland playing Peter Parker and Spider-Man next summer to look forward to. Plus, the British actor already knows who he wants to work with once his time with the Marvel universe is complete, and they are all big names.

“[Leonardo] DiCaprio, [Martin] Scorsese, [Quentin] Tarantino, Tom Hanks, Denzel Washington. Alejandro Inarritu. I want to work with Bayona again,” Holland told the publication. “I keep emailing my agent about it. Even the smallest role, I’ll do it.”

While we can’t wait to see what Holland does end up doing next, Jurassic World or not, we’re just going to focus on Spider-Man: Homecoming, which hits theaters on July 7, 2017.
