Another day, another TV series renewed!

Get excited, Night Shift fans, because the hospital drama is returning to NBC for another season.

Variety reports that the network officially renewed The Night Shift for Season 4 on Thursday.

The medical drama finished its third season this past summer, and while there is no official premiere date as of now, season 4 is set to begin sometime in 2017, so all you Dr. TC Callahan lovers can finally breathe a little easier.

“Week after week The Night Shift tells incredibly engaging and emotional stories that draw us into a unique world,” president of NBC Entertainment, Jennifer Salke told Variety. “We are delighted to renew the show for an exciting fourth season and look forward to continue working with such a great cast and executive producing team.”

Although The Night Shift doesn’t have a massive following it is a very constituent performer for the network bringing in an average 1.4 rating in adults 18-49 with 6.8 million viewers overall, the publication reported.

All we have to say is thank you to all those millions of viewers, because now The Night Shift is back in business, which is great because it helps us switch up our normal doctor viewings of Grey’s Anatomy, because let’s face it, you can never have too many doctor series on your DVR.
