Captain America: Civil War left fans with a LOT of questions. The biggest one being, will Steve Rogers (played by Chris Evans) return to his Captain America roots in another film?

At the end of the last film, Rogers walked away and left his alter ego character’s shield behind, alluding to the fact that maybe Rogers was over his double duty as Captain America. So what comes next? Civil War actor, Sebastian Stan, who played Bucky Banes/Winter Soldier in the movie, might’ve just dropped a big clue about that.

Stan posted a photo of himself, holding his very own Captain America shield on Monday and now we have even more questions.

“‘Excuse me… where’s the restroom?'” Stan captioned his hero photo. “A big thank you and shout out to Casey McBroom @shields_labs for making this for me. Will come in handy… #wintersoldier #marvel.”

“Come in handy?” Does this mean Stan will be replacing Evans as Rogers and Captain America in the next Marvel installment? Or is this simply a fun prop that Stan has always wanted as a fan of the comics himself?

While there is no confirmation either way, this clue does hint to the fact that the movie franchise will follow in the comic book’s footsteps with their storyline, in which Winter Soldier does step into Captain America’s shoes.

We love Evans as much as the next person, but Stan as the American hero could be very interesting.

What are your thoughts about a possible new Rogers/Captain America?
