We won’t have to wait much longer for Marvel’s latest series to hit our television screens. FX announced yesterday (Dec. 4) that Legions is set to make its big debut on Wednesday, Feb. 8.

Based off the comics by Chris Claremont and Bill Sienkiewicz, Legion follows the story of David Haller (Dan Stevens), a man who’s seemingly struggled with schizophrenia all his life. David’s life changes, however, when he’s institutionalized and meets new patient, Syd (Rachel Keller), and soon, David comes to the realization that perhaps the voices and visions he’s had since he was a child might actually be more real than he ever thought.

In addition to letting us in on when we can expect to see Legion premiere, FX also released a brand-new trailer for the upcoming Marvel series.

In the trailer, we see David coming to grips with the truth behind the voices in his head. As the trailer progresses, it’s clear that there’s much more at stake than just discovering what David’s visions really mean.

All in all, the trailer does a great job of getting us incredibly pumped to check out the series. We can’t wait to see how David goes about opening his mind and honing his skills!

Legion premieres Wednesday, Feb. 8 at 10 p.m. on FX.
